On 4 Sep, SCC-VA Board members and NASCAR driver and SPEED Sport announcer Hermie Sadler vsiited the kids at the Richmond Children's Hospital.
The group was accompanied by Hermie's wife Angie and Lee and Lisa Herndon of AutoTrader.Com. and the member of the hospital staff. "Raffle" and "50/50" the racing dog mascots and friends of SCC also made the trip. A special thanks to Hermie, Angie and the hospital staff for their dedication and support to the kids. Bristol Sets Record
Just before the start of the 23 Aug Sharpie 500, 168,000 NASCAR race fans set a new Guinness World Record for the "Wave." The old record was shatted by more than 50,000 participants.
